Ease
Effortless
Citrus-warmed olives and salty almonds, still faintly warm from the pan — the easiest kind of hospitality.
Ingredients
Method
Warm the olive oil gently with the citrus peel, rosemary and garlic — never let it sizzle.
Add the olives and warm for 5 minutes, just until fragrant.
In a dry pan, toast the almonds until golden, then toss with flaky salt.
Tip the olives into a small ceramic bowl with their oil.
Serve both in little bowls while still warm.
A little note
The olives keep a week in the fridge and improve every day.
